BoxLogic has opened the recruitment process as we look for a new consultant to join our growing team of supply chain and logistics experts. This round of recruitment represents the third such process undertaken in 2021 as the team has grown from the original four directors to what will now become, a team of seven.
2021 has been a year of tremendous growth for us. We have exceeded the targets that we set ourselves in terms of sales, working with new clients and undertaking more projects overseas.
We have had to grow to keep pace with the demand for our logistics consultancy services, adding to the team twice already this year. To maintain the level of focus and quality that we expect to be delivered for our clients then we need more resource.
Businesses around the world are trying to adapt to the current landscape of supply chain shortages still being felt from the pandemic induced shutdown and sudden restart of the global economy. If that wasn’t a big enough challenge, customers also dramatically changed their shopping habits during lockdowns with a growing preference for ordering online, whether that be for general retail or grocery.
The change has rippled through the supply chain, affecting wholesalers and upstream suppliers as well as customer focused businesses. The ongoing challenges of Brexit are also having an impact as companies adapt to the barriers or “friction” in trade by relocating facilities or finding new suppliers. Supply chains need help to overcome these challenges or sometimes, even just resource and we are there to support them.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience in building solutions and/or project managing in one or more of the following areas: warehouse facility design, distribution network design, warehouse management system process design or general logistics process improvements. We are looking forward to expanding again and welcoming our next colleague to the team!
